Zille or Plätte or Fuhre
The Zille is a historical type of flat-bottomed boat. However, Zille in the form typical of this region of Austria, the Salzkammergut, is called Plätte or Fuhre. The Fuhre was a working boat that once plied the waters of Lake Hallstatt and the River Traun. Navia allows you to experience the unique appeal of this bygone era in a fresh, wonderful way aboard one of the hand-crafted, faithful reproductions of vintage Fuhres.

The best way to get to Hallstatt is from Obertraun. The ride is so smooth that you enjoy the view so much and it is not crowded. They leave every hour and you can buy tickets at the restaurant or directly from the boat
